Susan Quinn, Artistic Director
Susan Quinn is from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, where she is the Artistic Director of the Quintessential Vocal Ensemble (QVE) and Choral Director at St. Bonaventure’s College. For nearly 30 years she taught music and led the award-winning choirs at Holy Heart of Mary High School. Susan received her early musical education from the Sisters of Mercy, and has degrees in Music and Music Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland, with a major in violin, and a Master’s degree in choral conducting from the University of Maine. She is in demand across Canada as an adjudicator, guest conductor, clinician and expert in choral intonation, and is a recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence and the Arts in Education Award from the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council. Her choirs have received numerous national awards and honours at international competitions in Austria, Wales, Ireland, and France, and recorded six albums.

Rob Pittman, Assistant Conductor
Rob Pittman is a conductor, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, arranger, and mixing engineer, who has been working professionally on stage and in the studio since 2003. He's performed with rock bands, symphony orchestras, jazz trios, folk singers, and everything in between, and is thrilled to be working as QVE’s Assistant Conductor. He has been a part of at least 30 different musical theatre
productions, most recently serving as Music Director, arranger, and producer for the streaming series “Daystreamer,” which is currently available to watch for free on YouTube. Rob is also an avid cyclist, having competed in races across Canada, and spends every moment of his spare time hanging out with his very good dog, Millie.
